As proposed by the National Education Policy 2020 approved recently, by 2030 the minimum educational qualification for teachers would be changed to a four-year duration integrated B.Ed. degree . If this eligibility criterion is implemented in the education system, only candidates with four-year B.Ed. degree and TET or CTET or STET certificate will be eligible to apply for teacher recruitment in government schools within the nation.
